- 22nd: Following its sharply rising demand in the US through websites such as FinalGear, the Discovery Channel begin airing an edited compilation series featuring content from the first five series of Top Gear.

- 25th: Series 3 of Brainiac: Science Abuse premieres on Sky One, with Richard Hammond as lead host.
- 26th: UKTV airs 3 days' worth of back-to-back Top Gear, which are followed by short segments hosted by James May and Louise Goodman about that year's best car.

- 12th: Following prior protests, Clarkson is hit in the face with a pie after collecting his honorary degree. Clarkson responds with "great shot".

- 25th: The Best of Top Gear special for Series 6 airs. That same night, the first episode of Stars in Fast Cars airs on BBC Three, following the successful pilot from July the year prior which was hosted by the three Top Gear presenters. The show is otherwise uninvolved with the trio.
