Christopher James Harris is an English motoring journalist and a current presenter on the BBC motoring show Top Gear. He has worked for Evo, Autocar, and Jalopnik and briefly presented a BBC America show called Chris Harris on Cars, which was eventually replaced by Top Gear America.
He first joined the show alongside Chris Evans, Matt LeBlanc, Rory Reid, Sabine Schmitz, and Eddie Jordan in the show's twenty-third series as a co-presenter.
By the show's twenty-fourth series, however, he had moved up to the position of main host, alongside LeBlanc and Reid.
From the twenty-seventh series, Harris co-hosted alongside Paddy McGuinness and Freddie Flintoff.

Top Gear[]
Harris was first introduced in the third episode of the show's twenty-third series, where he reviewed the Ferrari F12 TDF in France. Later in that series, Harris reviewed the Aston Martin Vulcan in Dubai, the Honda NSX in the US and the BMW M2 on the Top Gear test track.
Harris was featured more prominently in the following series, when he was promoted to the position of main host. Over the twenty-fourth series, Harris travelled to: Kazakhstan, Cuba, Montenegro, the United States, Monaco, the UAE, and Oman.
Chris Harris Drives[]
Harris also presents Chris Harris Drives, a web-series in which Harris tests the latest supercars. So far, Harris is the only Top Gear presenter to feature in the series. Frequently, the segments will be filmed during or after Top Gear films, as was the case for Harris' Bugatti Chiron and Ferrari LaFerrari FXX K webisodes. Chris Harris Drives episodes are made available on Top Gear's official website before they are published to YouTube.
