The Lexus RC F is the high performance version of the Lexus RC, an executive coupé version of the Lexus IS. The RC F is powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine, an 8 speed gearbox and is rear wheel drive. The Lexus RC F features active rear spoilers, aerodynamic design, ABS and has three TVD modes, Slalom, Track and Standard.
The Lexus RC F was unveiled in the 2014 North America International Auto Show.
Jeremy Clarkson reviewed the car in Top Gear's Series 22 Episode 6 in which he criticized the car for being too heavy, fat, slow and tendency to oversteer. He drag raced it along a BMW M4, and even though the RC F had more power than the M4, the M4 claimed victory. Jeremy also said that Lexus could and always did better than this, and then said the Lexus LFA is a much better Lexus-designed car.
Clarkson did not even allow The Stig to do a timed lap around the Top Gear test track because the car was "rubbish" and it "would be a complete waster of time".
