Below is a list of vehicles which were destroyed on-screen on either Top Gear or related visual media featuring a past or present host. In order for a vehicle to be classified as "destroyed", it must be rendered incapable of operation and can no longer be driven. Vehicles which maintain function of their drive wheels are not considered destroyed. As a result, vehicles such as The Smashed Hilux are not included.
Vehicles destroyed by Jeremy Clarkson[]
Since Clarkson: Unleashed on Cars, it was a yearly tradition for the home video series presenter Jeremy Clarkson made it a habit to destroy numerous vehicles he had a particular dislike for.
Yugo 45[]
The very first vehicle to be destroyed by Jeremy Clarkson was the Yugo 45, which was blown up by a tank and then ran over.
Nissan Sunny[]
The destruction of the Yugo was almost immediately followed by the Nissan Sunny, which was attached to the end of a replica medieval trebuchet and then thrown into the air at a speed which was faster than any vehicle that existed in 1996.
Lada Riva[]
For his second home video, a Lada was torn in two by a pair of dump trucks at a quarry in Wales.

Hyundai Accent[]
A 1995 model with fake T-reg plates (to make it seem new) is smashed up in a banger race with then Top Gear host Tiff Needell as a participant, before it is methodically torn apart and crushed at a scrapyard.
Ford Sierra GL[]
As part of Clarkson: At Full Throttle, in the quest to find the worst-tuned vehicle in Great Britain, a winner is found in the form of a Ford Sierra GL named "Bullet" by its former owner. After various pieces of furniture are dropped on the Sierra from a height, it is shot from a car cannon at the top of the same quarry where the Lada met its grisly fate three years prior.
Vehicles destroyed by James May[]
