The Morris Marina was a car that appeared frequently as a running gag on Top Gear and Clarkson's Home Videos.

Apperances

• In a 1988 episode of original format Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson attended an autojumble and voiced his disdain for the Marina.
• In Clarkson's Car Years "Who Killed the British Car Industry?" Jeremy compares it with the Austin Allegro to decide which one's worse.
• In Clarkson's Top 100 Cars, Jeremy played a game of bar skittles with the Marina and knocked over a few other cars he hated.
• in Series 12, Episode 6, Jeremy raced a Marina against James May in a Lada Riva. In the end, the Marina was set on fire.
• In Series 12, Episode 7, reactions from the Morris Marina Owners Club were read out in The News and made fun of. Another Marina was bought, but a piano was dropped on it.
• In Series 13, Episode 5, The Marina was used as a backup car, and was driven by James May after his Ford Capri 2.8 Injection broke. It was decided that the Marina was the best RWD car that money can buy, and another piano was dropped on it.
• In Series 13, Episode 6, the hosts again read out reactions from the Morris Marina Owners Club and showed a video of Carla Bruni singing a song with subtitles talking about the destroyed Marina and hating James May.
• In Clarkson: Duel, a drag race was held between The Stig in a Marina and Clarkson in an Aston Martin. Unfortunately, the race had to be cancelled due to the piano being dropped on the Marina.
• In Series 14, Episode 3, Jeremy raced a Marina against Richard Hammond in a Lancia Beta. The Marina had a piano already strapped to the top, but ended up having another piano dropped on it.
• In Top Gear: The Worst Car in the History of the World, while James May tested the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Jeremy Clarkson drops a Morris Marina on May's Fiat Panda.
• In a promotional video for Clarkson, Hammond and May Live, Jeremy was loading May's piano with a crane but "accidentally" drops it on a Morris Marina. The piano was damaged.
