Nissan Patrol is an off-road vehicle built and produced by Nissan since 1951. Patrol is the longest production line model. Patrol was nearly high-expection for being well-rugged, adaptability in different road conditions including desert, reliability and even built for high-performance etc. Patrol is a competitor to Toyota Land Cruiser.
Like the Land Cruiser, the models started as Jeep type up to second-gen. By third to current-gen now shifted to SUV. From first to current Y61 powered an inline-6 engine (including inline-4 and diesel counterpart); V6 and V8 only in Y62. Drivetrain uses a 4WD (all-gens); RWD optional from third to current-gen.
Y61 continues in production to compete the J70 Land Cruiser in some countries. Patrol can be seen some government organisation.

- In Past v Future, Richard Hammond (in Porsche 918) challenges a tuned Patrol in a drag race, after won against Bugatti Veyron. In a race, Patrol easily pulling away the Porsche 918, as a result Hammond lost the challenge. Hammond realised that the Patrol has twice of it's power during the discussion with Jeremy.
