Peugeot 307 is a small compact car built by Peugeot (under as PSA with Citroen). 307 marks with more round bodywork derived from the smaller Peugeot 206. Body style comes a hatchback, coupe cabriolet (in 2003) and estate, then finally the saloon.

Engines are 1.4 to 2-litre inline-4 both petrol and diesel. Engine codes are different, hatchback and coupe cabriolet have same wheelbase but slightly in both estate and saloon. Width and height is same except coupe cabriolet (which is 3.5-inch short in height) and different length.

307 CC launched in 2003 to compete under as carbiolet category. This also has a WRC version to replace the Peugeot 206 WRC in 2004. However, it fell in shortcoming where in 2005 Rally GB, Michael Park (Markko Martin's co-driver) died a sustained injuries after the crash. It scored most podium including 3 WRC victories (2 in Finland and one in Japan) and 2nd place in 2005 (4th in previous year; 2004), thus Peugeot departs from WRC.

A facelift version received in 2005 with a cosmetic changes, later version front bumper has been redesign with bigger air intake.

307 production first ended in France in 2008, this continues in Argentina up to 2011 and China up to 2014. Where the replaced by 308 and 408.

  • In 2001 TGM issue, 307 praises for price, handling, praticality etc. then road-test as well.
  • In Series 22, Episode 5, Jeremy made a comparsion with the Peugeot 407 as being claimed as 'modern Peugeot driver'. However, the 307 CC had deliberately suffers with a terrible flawed notoriously with the castratrophe engine problems (as being smoked), unable to attach/detach the convertible roof, etc. throughout of it's overall road impression.
