The first episode of the twelfth series of Top Gear aired on the 2nd of November, 2008. It was presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and The Stig. Michael Parkinson was the guest star.
Synopsis[]
For this series, Jeremy jokingly states that they'd thought to aim the show towards a slightly more mature, older audience, so they did a thing on "why beige is the right colour" for your car. Jeremy then went on a coach tour in North Wales, before finding out that the BBC is putting Top Gear against Strictly Come Sequins at the same time on BBC 1. Since everyone over the age of 85 is going to be watching that, they had to throw all their "hard work" away, and begin again. This is followed by a taster of what to expect during the next 8 weeks.
