Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame is the final celebrity for Series 21 to drive around the test track in the Vauxhall Astra. He promoted his then-upcoming film, Need for Speed, the cinematic adaptation of the well-established racing game franchise.

- This was the least-viewed episode of Series 21 by a considerable margin, and the only episode of the series to drop below 6 million viewers.
- This was the second of three lead-in episodes to the "Holy Trinity Special" which would have started Series 23 were it not for Jeremy Clarkson's Dismissal in March 2015. As a result, all three presenters left the show and the plans for the episode were eventually retooled into The Holy Trinity, the pilot episode of spiritual successor The Grand Tour, which premiered 2 and a half years on from this episode.
