Subaru is a Japanese vehicle manufacturer based on Ebisu, Shibuya, Japan since 1953. Subaru also formerly known as Fuji Heavy Industries, which was formerly controlled by Nissan until 1999, then passed over to GM and now under with Toyota as a current stake holder and shares.
Subarus are notably exclusive powered with flat-engines almost all-lineup, then with four-wheel drive known as Symmetrical AWD. Subarus are very sucessful in rallying initially started with Legacy, then with said successful the Impreza WRX STI with 4 WRC victories at the hands both Collin McRae and Richard Burns. With it's rallying under as STI (Subaru Tecnica International) and partner with Prodrive.
The BRZ is the current sports car built based on the Toyota 86 (now as GR86) with shared components, now with both flat-engines.
