Toyota GR Yaris is a hot-hatch and homologated variant of Toyota Yaris. The car designed to meet the WRC homologate rules.
Unique other cars GR Yaris is an AWD (branded as GR-Four), powerful turbocharged 1.6-litre inline-3 engine, 18-inch wheels and iMT gearbox. Torque distribution is added can be selected between 60:40, 50:50 and 30:70 depending on any track conditions and driving preferences.
Engine and drivetrain later used for Toyota GR Corolla. An FWD-version as GR Yaris RS is only in Japan market with different engine as Dynamic Force a 1.5-litre and CVT gearbox with less power rated at 165-bhp.
The car praised many reviews for astonishing performance and similar rally-bred. Production units extended with 2,500 units due to market demand.
