The UK Special was the eighth special episode of the Amazon Prime motoring show The Grand Tour. It aired as the show's second mini special and the fourth episode of the show's fourth series being based in England and Wales during the COVID-19 pandemic and aired on the 17th of December, 2021. It is entitled Carnage A Trois and is the forty-second episode overall.
The episode saw the presenters travel from from Crickenhowell in Wales through Leamington Spa of Warwickshire and ending up at Beachy Head in Eastbourne Sussex taking a look at the weird and wonderful cars of France.
Synopsis[]
Despite Britain being a fan of French cuisine, wine and culture, French Cars have often been looked down upon. To find out why the presenters are travel across Wales and England to test out a whole frange of French Cars to see if any of them have Joie De Vivre.

- Alongside the hatchbacks, there was also a Renaultsport Megane 225 Cup, a Peugeot 206 GTI and a Citroen Saxo VTS driven by Abbie Eaton.
- There was also a Citroen SM, Citroen 2CV, Renault 4, Renault 21, Peugeot 208, the propeller powered Leyat Helica and the simply terrible Citroen Pluriel.

Trivia[]
- It is the second European Special that the trio have taken part in.
- It is also the second special to take place in the UK, due to the restrictions caused by COVID-19.
- Like International Buffoons' Vacation and Lochdown, this special will take place as a long road trip with several different modes of transport rather than the usual long adventure in a remote country.
- At the 54:00 mark, during the rally cross race, a caption appears while "Ça Plane Pour Moi" by Plastic Bertrand is being played, which reads "And before you jump on Twitter, yes, we know he's Belgian."
- This special marks Abbie Eaton's last appearance in the show.
