Top Gear Wiki

For a while now, all 22 series of CHM format Top Gear has been successfully placed on to the intermediate template. In addition, MotorTrend has finally stuck true to their promise and released the series of interest on their service, which I plan to record and redub with the original audio for personal archival purposes. I have also began to embark on a purchasing spree, ripping DVDs in their source quality via MakeMKV, since they aren't available online and so I can have max quality screencaps. The covers will also be scanned to replace the existing scans which are available. Note that from personal experience, it appears Unleashed on Cars - At Full Throttle are exceedingly rare to find on DVD, since they were part of a very limited reprint run in 2004, so it may take a while before these are done.

I am presently gearing up for my 200th day contributing to the Wiki, where I aim to produce the following in one lump sum:

  • Pages for every presenter in the history of Top Gear
  • The first 100 cards for Top Gear Turbo Challenge
  • Every board game and album release connected to Top Gear
  • Picture galleries and car lists for the first series of 2002-era Top Gear, as well as the missing quote pages
  • Picture galleries for The Car's The Star (see below)

It is on that day that I will also apply for the FANDOM App, so that this Wiki has a larger exposure.

But while that's going on in the background, I have decided to turn my attention to the various branching out that Top Gear did during the 1990s, and as a result will be adding one episode of The Car's The Star fully summarized and with quotes every single day until that big 200 figure is reached on my eventual quest to 365. Once that show is done, I will then do Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld.
