Volkswagen Golf GTI is an FWD hot-hatch variant of the Volkswagen Golf produced since 1976.

The Golf GTI comes with exclusive inline-4 displaces from 1.6 to 2-litre and initially as 3-door hatchback but with an optional 5-door. Newer Golf GTI now with shared Golf R EA-series engine equipped with turbocharged but lacks of VR6 engine. The manual gearbox remain standard but has an DSG gearbox, as well.

Several limited edition version comes with upgraded drivetrain, such as: The Clubsport, etc.
